While the cupola on the chemically-strengthened glass lid might recall the 1979 007 film, it's the technology of the Weber Workshops Moonraker Espresso Tool that ties the theme together.
It uses a Swiss watch-like solid brass movement to move a set of 10 medical-grade stainless steel needles through ground beans, using the Weiss Distribution Technique to ensure optimum homogeneity. The exterior is made from black anodized aluminum and machined and polished stainless steel, and it arrives with 20 spare needles and a coffee brush.
